I raised 4 chicks in the spring; they started laying this fall. Well one couldn't get an egg out and died about a week ago (now these are my babies). Wednesday another was standing weird when I went out in the early a.m. to feed. By Wed. night I remembered to check on her and she was alive but not doing well. I turned her over and she had crap

In 1996 I broke my back molar on a jaw breaker (good lesson learned; don't chew them). As we age our teeth get older and more brittle and crack easier. I went 14 years with a root canal and crack at the gum-line (which I was told may abscess and the whole thing may not work as bacteria could still get into the tooth and decay it

Tonight I'm giving a surprise birthday party for Brian; he turned 50 today. It will be at his favorite restaurant above Georgetown, CA. wildwolfsden's Dr. just phoned and said he came through the gallbladder surgery fine. His gallbladder was so badly inflamed; he had to do "major" surgery and he'll be in the hospital (Kaiser; Morse Sacramento) for 3-5 days. I'm so glad I had time to read lj today or I'd never have known; he posted earlier today.
