That was my initial reaction to it. Then I stewed on it for a day, and got a little angrier. :)

I've seen it mentioned a few places that most stuff online, blogs/fic/videos/etc, only get about 1% participation out of their visitors anyway. Lol, 10% is doing pretty well, by those standards.

For a comm dedicated to a 'ship that went off the air 3 1/2 years ago, I think 10% is pretty close to amazing. I didn't even know the contest was going on, because of how busy I've been, but seriously. Being pissed that only 40 people voted? On a comm of 540? I've seen mishaland have polls/contests that got less votes than that, and they've got 3000+.

Heh. That's exactly what I did.

I've been thinking for more than 24 hours about how to respond to this diplomatically and reasonably, and I think I've come to the conclusion that there really isn't a way, because there is more wrong with this post than I can actually put into words.

If you want to remove me, remove me. I'm so sorry that I haven't lived up to your expectations of what a comm member should be. Silly me, not realizing after almost five years of membership that contest voting was a requirement.
