I'm sick, you guys. *sniffles pathetically* So, in my time of woe, what shall I do? RAEG AT IDIOTS ON MY SHOWS. Totally therapeutic! And served up fresh for evisceration, we have...

Glee- 2 x 12: Silly Love Songs.

First off, I think it will surprise nobody that I think Finn is a GIANT DOUCHEBAG and needs to be exterminated immediately. )

Glee is definitely full of hypocrisy. That one episode where they find out Kurt doesn't believe in God....oh my gosh, don't get me started. Mercedes' whole speech "I know you don't believe in God, but you HAVE to believe in something so come to church with me!!! or I'll hate you forever!!!!" UGH.

I HATE IT SFM. I mean, people keep saying how amazing Mercedes is, but I don’t see it. She makes racist remarks to Quinn and Rachel, and keeps making horrible put-downs to Rachel in particular, and then she’s insensitive and thoughtless to Kurt ( ... )

LOLOL, MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear like they have plans to execute him anytime soon. *pouts*

PS. You ship Jack/Erica, is that right? ZOMG, conflicting ships. :O Nvm, we agree on the most important ship of all- Tyler/DEATH. *squish*

no plans to execute him soon? hmph!!! too bad i hate him too much to fic even his terrible death

it's not so much that i ship them (or not with any commitment -- I cringed at the idea in the early eps before it was clear he was going to be defrocked) as I find the idea of deflowering an ex-priest quite compelling.

I mean, let's face it, the guy has been at least 10 years sex-free (four or five in seminary, 4 to 6 minimum in the Army, and then several years as a friendly neighborhood priest), assuming he didn't get his Call young enough to be an actual virgin and, if he's been "good" (which I think he's righteous enough to at least TRY), he's not been having any/many orgasms by his own hand, either.

take a guy like that, throw in a passionate, powerful woman like Erica and... yeah...

*haz a weakness for sex that leaves a man a quivering mess once he regains consciousness*

I just watched The Inside a few weeks ago! TOTAL LOVE. ♥ Remember when Paul was showing off the pictures of his wife's ultrasound and Rebecca was all "do you... uh... know what... kind it is?" Her socialization fail was one of my favorite parts of her character. And the whole team was so goofy and awesome despite the premise being so dark. Gah, show, you were gone too soon.

Her socialization fail was one of my favorite parts of her character.

THIS. And I love all the moments of obtuseness with her team, but I think her crowning moment of socialization fail was when she chooses the immediate aftermath of Cory’s traumatizing experience (in which he has been abducted, assaulted, sexually molested and threatened with having his man-parts cut off) to hit on him! I LOL’D. I mean, it didn’t even occur to her that it was an inappropriate time to ask a man on a date! HAHAAAA. Poor chicky.

the whole team was so goofy and awesome despite the premise being so dark

YES. CM used to have that, but lost it pretty early on and is now all SRS BZNS. Inside? It mined for the humor in the darkest of situations. And it never felt like it was exploiting an issue for cheap laughs. I remember the ep with the psycho little girl (omg, how sad was the ending? The mother shouldn’t have died >_<) where Mel was all agog at the possibility that Rebecca had beat up on the kid…oh, and that ep where Webb was suspended and Rebecca ( ... )

Oh wow. The Inside. I loved that show. I think I was still watching TV series on actual TV when I saw that. Will have to track it down and rewatch. :D

I didn't realize f-listers might've seen it, it was such an underrated show! But OMG, it was utter love. I MISS IT SO. If you want links to the eps, I can pm them to you?

I try to tell myself that maybe it might not have done so well if it was renewed, that it might've gone downhill like Criminal Minds, but....*sniffles* That doesn't help! I want my team awesomeness, I want Webb's machinations and Rebecca's social obtuseness back!

Hmm. I don' t know. It was pretty awesome. There's no way to tell how a shows going to go unless it's given a chance.

Oh, I'm glad you've been able to get hold of it! Yeah, I had a hankering for this show a couple months ago and was so glad to be able to d/l it, I'd forgotten how amazing it was.

I really liked the balance of psychology with the...unique team dynamics. I don't think I've seen anything like that before- I usually love teams where everybody gets on and they have a nice supportive boss and it's all hunky-dory 'coz I can't stand the sort of BSG atmosphere where everyone backstabs each other and undermines authority and that kind of thing (it makes me sad)- but I really, really loved Webb. I never lol'd so hard as when he's all: *fires gun* 'Let her go! Damn, I did that backwards.' *gigglefit*

It was so dark, but it had a real sense of humor, I liked the way they balanced the two elements. It wasn't cheap, but it was just gallows' humor that made me snicker a lot. *sighs*

I'm glad I have friends who've seen it and share my ~feelings~ over the show and its untimely cancellation. *clings*

I HATE FINN FOREVER. This is something we can agree on. Like, Finn is the lead guy, and made and written to be ~liked~ but just, ugh. He's a jerk, but then made out to be a okay dude. The thing I like about Puck instead is that he knows he can be an asshole. But Finn just has a messed up view on things, I don't know if he does it on purpose or if he's just that dumb.

I don't watch V, but I saw the Voyager mention and I flailed hard. Talk to me about Voyager bb.

He’s like this show’s Tyler- oh, wait, lol, you don’t watch V, but I just hate that kid sfm, and then here’s Finn, who’s equally douchetastic, argh. Why do I hate the obligatory white boy lead in all my shows?

made and written to be ~liked~ but just, ugh. He's a jerk, but then made out to be a okay dude.

Yeah, no, it’s like they don’t even realize what an ass he comes off- he sits back and lets kids get bullied, he doesn’t stick up for his friends, he’s emotionally abusive to Rachel and inappropriately pressures her and Quinn…WTF. NOT SYMPATHETIC AT ALL. And I totally buy that he will be Will in twenty years time- he’s already got the ‘going after other guys’ girlfriends’ part down pat. *glares at them both*

The thing I like about Puck instead is that he knows he can be an asshole.Yes, and he strives to do his best regardless. I really liked that line of his about how he’ll mean to do well and try to stay on the side of good but then wind up punching someone? I’m paraphrasing ( ... )

Lol! I love that your fandom glasses are so strong they picked up my Voyager reference buried in the pile of V ranting! *squishes you* SO COOL.LOL. "Chakotay" kind of jumped out at me, ngl. I should have realized that you were into Voyager, with your user name and all! It was my most favorite thing when I was younger and now I've been going back and watching the entire thing from the start. I'm midway through season 4 right now, I'm taking it slow because I don't want it all to be gone D ( ... )

I have to say, I liked Kes, and I cried when she left (okay, more because Janeway lost a friend/confidante, but still). I know a lot of people found her boring, but I’d rather Neelix have gone. I can’t stand useless characters who cause trouble and get them into messes being kept around, wtf was the point of his character? He never helped and he always made things worse ( ... )
