In his time of need, she should be putting her own feelings aside and focusing on being there for her BFF, and instead, she’s like ‘You don’t have to believe in God, but you have to believe in something greater than yourself’- um, which…is generally involved in the whole belief of god or other deities?
All he wanted was to sit by his father’s bedside in peace, and she had to drag him to church, make a spectacle out of him by telling everyone he doesn’t share their faith and then put on this religious performance designed to make him feel bad about not believing and like he’s inferior to all the other devout folks there. UGH. It was so infuriating! *kicks her* How hard is it to just let it go? The way everyone overreacted to his lack of faith was insane. (yeah, like the gay kid is going to want to believe in something that says being himself is a sin and he’s bound for hell)
