ME TOO. Totally agree with everything you said. For me, I dislike Ron more than Ginny ... Ginny is just meh and doesn't do much whereas Ron actively annoys me.

Ginny was a nonentity for five books, so I didn't really care about her til JKR rewrote her to be AWESOME!SPECIAL!SUPER!GINNY and Harry's perfect match from out of NOWHERE. She became a terrible bully and so mean to people and we're supposed to like her? Huh? JKR has either never been bullied or she was a bully at school because the way she writes her characters behaving and then praising it is disgusting.

Ron actively annoys me

IKR? If he and Hermione had never had that forced chemistry put upon them by JKR, trying to fit a square peg into a round hole when it DIDN'T WORK, they would've been so much better. Instead, they keep hurting each other and he's a constant ass and we're supposed to think it's okay because they're MEANT TO BE. *gags*

Hee, H/Hr was my first ship in the fandom! They just made sense to me, and they seemed more like equals- rather than R/Hr, where Hermione always acted superior to Ron and he seemed to resent it because he didn't get her at all ( ... )

I second everything you said about the Potter canon ships. Ridiculous, the lot of them.

Except Dumbeldore/Grindelwald. That one did actually make sense. Though it was only implied by a later interview, so I'm not sure it counts.

*nodnod* I don’t know how we were expected to take them seriously- except for taking the characters and filling-in-the-blanks and substituting all the awesomeness that fandom can come up with for the epic fail that was actually the written text.

Except Dumbeldore/Grindelwald. That one did actually make sense. Holy crap, IKR? DD went from being this benevolent, kindly old genial grandfather to EVIL INCARNATE and it made sense. I hate what she did, because I was so disillusioned, but as opposed to Hermione and tons of others, this 180 turn in characterization was actually well-reasoned and developed. *amazed ( ... )

Always detested Harry/Ginny, and they are even WORSE in the movies. To me they have no chemistry, and I mean absolutely zero ( ... )

Always detested Harry/Ginny, and they are even WORSE in the movies. To me they have no chemistry, and I mean absolutely zero. This is awful of me but- she’s not even pretty! The thing is, in RL, she is gorgeous, but for some reason, they make her plain for the movies, which is just baffling to me! Thank god they don’t do that to Emma! Hermione’s supposed to be plain, not a stunning beauty, but I’m totally cool with that… ^_ ( ... )

Jesus woman, you and your reply essays! *squish* I'll be here all night ;P

Blah, Ginny is supposed to be all ~FIRE AND CHARISMA~ and movie!Ginny is just...terribly boring. And I agree, not pretty either. She's supposed to be hot, and when Fred is all You seem to be doing just fine on your own to her in the movies its just laughable lol. Hermione is a thousand times more gorgeous.
The H/G kiss was like two dead fishes being slapped together, utterly unmoving and frankly disgusting. The blowjob thing on the stairs I actually cringe and have to fastforward through *shudders from second hand embarassment*

they don’t act like they care about the other’s feelings at all
This is where I disagree! They care too much about the other's feelings for them, and that's what makes them so touchy and lash out. I think the arguments show that they are both passionate people, and this passion is often released on each other. Just look at Ron's own parents. They bicker constantly, and yet they have a happy and healthy relationship, and obviously no ( ... )

If you don’t have the guts to tell someone how you feel, you don’t get to make them feel like crap!I don't believe whatsoever that Hermione was trying to make Ron jealous by going out with Krum, but that's a whole other kettle of fish ( ... )

Harry/Luna FTW

Heh, I don’t mind that, actually. Ginny always related to him as Boy-Who-Lived [she seemed like a celebrity whore] whereas Luna couldn’t care less. She seemed more in tune with his emotions and his needs- witness the aftermath of the battle in DH, when Luna senses his exhaustion and reluctance to stick around and face the crowds, and how she arranges a distraction so he can slip off for some peace and quiet. And does he seek out Ginny? Nope, it’s Hermione and Ron whose company he craves!

The only couple I ever thought of as a perfect match were Neville and Luna because they were awesome

But interview!canon [which is so not canon to me] has him married to Hannah Abbot. And JKR gushes about how cool he is for marrying her, because she runs an inn. Um, yeah, Neville helped save the world and he’s only cool ‘coz of his wife? Riiiight. And Luna supposedly marries some weird-sounding Scandinavian dude…*snorts* No, thanks, I’ll stick to Luna and Neville, they make sense.

I'm convinced in the hands of any other more gifted ( ... )

She is always so careful around him, like he's an idol and she must not bother him. women are supposed to be seen but not heard

Lol, literally- wasn’t her entire role in a few books just to walk in, squeak at the sight of Harry and blush furiously before scurrying away? She has this whole deferential air around him that would be so unhealthy in a relationship. *shakes head*

[What I love about my Castle OTP is that Beckett was actually a huge fan of Castle, she’s a total fangirl, and yet that doesn’t come across in their interactions- she doesn’t make concessions for him, she doesn’t let his charm and good looks and fame sway her, she acts like normal and totally professional around him, which makes it extra hilarious when rare moments of her fangirl side pop up!]

she changed her whole demeanor to make herself into what her idea of what Harry wanted was. the girl she became later, all her personality "growth" it was all for Harry It was kind of hilarious how Ginny acting stuck-up and superior to everyone and turning into a huge ( ... )

There has to be tension. SCREW TENSION I SAY.

Emily and Hotch are the best things about CM and we don’t have them sniping at each other and constantly criticizing the other person’s analysis or anything! Goodness gracious! And yet I somehow still completely buy them as a ship,

The king taking him on as a ward or protégé, sure, but an adopted son? Not buying it, sorry.

That sounds a little weird.

Very contrived. *nodnod*

Heroes are always supposed to fight! It's why they're heroes! HOW CAN YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THIS I DON'T EVEN. DON'T QUESTION IT! :P

The sad thing is that you may be joking, but that’s how writers actually think. WE MUST HAVE DUMB HEROES WITHOUT TWO BRAIN CELLS TO RUB TOGETHER SO THEY CAN PLUNGE INTO DANGER AND PUT EVERYONE’S LIVES AT RISK IN ORDER FOR MAXIMUM DRAMA AND TENSION!

Exactly, who looks in a pot plant for a dagger? No one. It's the last place you look!*wuvs you* Y’know, the times when I literally laugh out loud? 90% of the time, it’s at something you said. IDEK why, but that just struck me as ( ... )

I actually like the fact that CM doesn't have the characters bitching at each other and doesn't have any tension between the team members

IKR? I hate it when people want shows to be ‘realistic’ by having catfights and toxic office politics and people undermining each other. I love my team family dynamics!

then he realised the true power of her supreme awesomeness and bowed down to her like all men should...

Okay it's really quite obvious who I prefer out of that pairing, isn't it? LMAO

*squishes* You usually are biased one way or another- like with Juliet over Sawyer, Stephen over JT…but it’s pretty equal with Hotch and Em, isn’t it? I can’t figure which you’d pick between the two…damn, that should’ve been a meme question, if I was totally evil- ‘Either Hotch or Emily MUST DIE, who do you pick?’ >:P
