It's given me a bit of a headstart on the others from my world, who can't seem to manage too long without magic. [She never named any names now, did she?]

... would you prefer living by Raven? I thought that, perhaps, we could make do without electricity, as Ron is already used to it, having grown up in a magical home.

[She shrugs slowly.] Then perhaps we should have a meeting between the three of us to further discuss this?

[Mind you, she never claimed to cook well.]

I got here a little less than two months ago. I just... tend to stay a little shut in. My name is Hermione; and you are?

[She... doesn't really get what that last word is, but she doesn't ask after it.] Well, I wouldn't say ages; I'm still learning how this place works. It's nice to meet you, Naruto. How long have you been here?

I understand that perfectly. If I didn't, I would never be letting certain people live this down. [She's chuckling, since she knows that she's usually pretty willing to let people live down quite a lot.]

Certain people who think they're better than others because they have certain abilities.

I've been working on renavating a few buildings. One's almost ready to have a few people in it....

If you don't mind lending a hand to get one of the apartments finished, that is.

What exactly do you need? I'm sure Ron and Harry wouldn't mind helping me pitch in, as they need to feel useful. [She totally just volunteered her two lazy bffs for construction work. No regrets.]

I'll see what we can manage. We may be a bit useless without our magic, but it won't hurt to try.
