My office just had a huge fight on this topic.

Half the office says gays and lesbians should not be parents as a child seeing a same sex couple being intimate may screw them up or make them gay. Also they fear gays and lesbians may be considered a minority and get given preferential treatment over straight couples and get kids faster.

I was reading this week's Time Magazine, and an article popped out that proposed an interesting topic. It involves research on gay Rams, and biological origins for homosexuality in sheep. Apparently gay sheep cost the sheep industry money, because breeders want to make sure that as many male sheep as possible reproduce. Though it hasn't been the ( Read more... )

I pray this is not a repost, but this was in my college newspaper this morning so I doubt it.

Scientists in Oregon have been working on finding a biological, neurological basis for homosexuality and using this information to turn gay sheep straight using hormones. More here:
