Honestly, when I was a kid, I saw a lot of movies with my dad and my dad's side of the family that had sex scenes in it. It made me all kinds of uncomfortable. I was too embarrassed to watch the screen in case somebody thought I was too interested and I was afraid not to look at the screen because I didn't want anyone to think I was embarrassed.
So, I would have begged off too.

Well, the real answer would be A except it's a conversation that would never take place, and it also bears no relevance to the Brokeback post since no one in that situation ever said that it wasn't the homosexuality that bothered them, while the child in your scenario did. Now if I overheard a kid being asked "Do you want to see Brokeback Mountain?" by a friend and she responded "Ew, gross, no," I certainly would be concerned about a homophobic issue, since teenage girls don't often respond to offers to see hot young actors in love scenes by saying "Ew, gross" as long as it's not with their parents (the offer to watch it with their mother being the other weird part of the post).
