The eighth letter.

"Six to go."

Someone has been killed.  Report all missing persons immediately.

ADDENDUM:
The prior assumption of seven letters was incorrect.  An eighth letter dated from January 26th has been disclosed by an anonymous informant.  "Four have information on the monsters."  If such information exists, I request that it be released.  ( Read more... )

An inhabitant of the town has been terminated. His or her identity is vital.

I would like to report that I also received a letter.

It is handwritten. "One down."

As was mine. I will classify these letters separately from the first seven.

. . . .

I cannot be entirely sure, but I have good reason to believe America found and killed the first monster. I am unaware of his current whereabouts, though; there is no one at his house to answer the phone.

. . . The assumption will be noted. Full documentation will be reserved until the evidence is provided.

...You seem to be missing one.

A note. The seven you've mentioned, plus the one you just received make eight, but I received one as well, some time ago.

Regrettable. Regardless, the reception of this letter had already broken the tenuous pattern.

I request that you divulge the contents.

What!? You mean it was one of us!?

No! No way. I'm not buying it!

. . . These are the facts. They may be interpreted as any individual desires. Skepticism is not altogether unwarranted.

I can't believe it...even if he did, he was brainwashed right? Then it's still the town's fault.

Likely to be correct. More inquiries must be made.
