ADDENDUM:
The prior assumption of seven letters was incorrect.  An eighth letter dated from January 26th has been disclosed by an anonymous informant.  "Four have information on the monsters."  If such information exists, I request that it be released.

Oh, what a shame...it seems this rescinds the challenge I made to anyone on a witch-hunt.

I do hope some of our lovely "monsters" take me up on it, however.

Games do get boring quick without any direct aggression...I am not one for chess or mysteries.

Yes but that grows tiresome. I do hope one or all of them actively challenges me. Then I could get a few or possibly all of them out of the way quickly.

Though I'm loathe to do what this town wishes. I'm sure they will grow bored before we give them what they want.
