The eighth letter.

"Six to go."

Someone has been killed.  Report all missing persons immediately.

ADDENDUM:
The prior assumption of seven letters was incorrect.  An eighth letter dated from January 26th has been disclosed by an anonymous informant.  "Four have information on the monsters."  If such information exists, I request that it be released.  ( Read more... )

I would like to report that I also received a letter.

It is handwritten. "One down."

As was mine. I will classify these letters separately from the first seven.

. . . .

I cannot be entirely sure, but I have good reason to believe America found and killed the first monster. I am unaware of his current whereabouts, though; there is no one at his house to answer the phone.

. . . The assumption will be noted. Full documentation will be reserved until the evidence is provided.

He left this message, earlier. (( Yuki can hack it since Germany already did ))

I can only assume that the note I received means that he was successful.

Understood. Should he return, please inquire of him the identity of the 'monster'.

[Sometime after this first conversation, Yuki calls Germany again.]

. . . You were familiar with him. Please describe his recent behavior.

*he's RATHER BUSY after that announcement up there, but he answers for Yuki*

Grief. Self-doubt. He spoke to me before the murders in Mayfield began; after they showed footage of that so-called town "Westport", he asked me to come to his house to protect his children, afraid that the town might turn him into a brainwashed drone. I promised him I would kill him.

I promised him I would kill him.

I didn't know.

I promised.

. . . I apologize for the inquiry, but it is necessary to understand his behavior up to the point of his death. Your information was valuable. I will not disturb you any further.
