I just spent two and a half hours at the office after work rewriting a flash fiction piece to submit. It's off and away.

It's a good thing. But my now back hurts, I'm tired (I've still got an hour commute ahead of me) and I don't want to go running.

I haven't run at all in the past week, and I'm not sure I'm going to get any running in by the end of this week. Partly this is because I've been working at a conference in San Diego since Sunday (I just got home last night) and I don't tend to work out when I'm traveling. Welp, last night I rounded out week four of the Couch-to-5k training program that I've been working on. Week one to three went really well for me. The training days increased their difficulty at just the right pace, so that I came away from my walk/runs feeling good, clean, energized and strong.
