After yesterday's phone messes and visit to the beach, and her chats with Karla and Momoko, and time in the Common Room, Dinah was not about to risk the phones again for any reason. Running into Jak in the park just reminded her of the Friday night radio broadcast, and if she hadn't promised Karla she'd go flying, she would've been tempted to stay

As promised, after work and before the Fight Club meeting, Firekeeper and Blind Seer stopped by Dinah's room to see if they could find any information about the upcoming episodes of Darkest Night.

She knocked on the doorframe and poked her head through the open doorway. "We is here!"

"C'mon in, guys!" Dinah rolled her chair across the floor, and pulled out cookies for Firekeeper and some jerky she'd laid in for Blind Seer. "How was work?" she asked, firing up her laptop and waiting for the browser to load.

"Not so bad," Firekeeper told Dinah, taking a cookie as she sat on the floor. Blind Seer settled next to her on the floor with the beef jerky. "Jacob come by. Am not sure if you meet him?" she asked.

"Big guy?" Dinah asked, holding her hand above her head. Because yeah, wow, huge. "With a friend who looks like you, I think he said?"

Jill's voicemail had not gone crazy, so she had no idea anything weird was going on. She was just kind of bored and looking for entertainment. "Diiinah."

"Jiiiiiillll," Dinah sang back. "Hey there. Talked to your brother last weekend. You met any of the new kids yet?"

"Not yet," Jill pouted. "I need to do that. Before any of them decide everyone here is crazy."

"Some of them are well on their way," Dinah admitted. "But there's a lot of cute new guys. Jacob, and Charles, and Bruce..." Eeeek. Dinah's brain tried to shut down there. "So there's that too?"
