Aw, I was hoping that you were going to say that the cauliflower and yogurt experiment was a success! That sounds like a nice alternative to yummy but starchy mashed spuds. I hope the Parmesan fixes the problem.

I tried it with some Parmesan, and there's definitely an improvement. I still don't know whether I'd bother to make it again, though.

You can find recipes for cauliflower pastry out there and it's surprisingly good!

Maybe you could soak the lettuce leaves in buckets and then bring them in? Yum, yum, home grown lettuce!

We have no luck in the garden as we have SO many wild bunnies around here!

We're surrounded by bunnies too! But they can't get past the rabbit fencing I've got around the garden.
