Now that Nocturne has been completed, I am already conteplating my future musical endeavors. First up will be Dreams, a mostly complilation CD of the more dreamy pieces by DJ Blackwidow with two brand new songs. I am hoping that this will be the run of new CDs by Kirk McKenna, Jr over the course of the next year. Stay tuned for more info!!!

My new album of original music is finally finished. I got done with the final track today and then mixed and mastered the CD. The title of the new CD is Nocturne. Nocturne, the new album, now has 10 tracks. I am in process of composing 2 more. Once those are finished in the next few weeks, the CD will be finalized and released on Jamendo. Forget all you have read previously about my new CD. Two weeks ago, upon listening and writing new music, I discovered that all the new songs were related. I now have 5 songs for the new CD. I am amazed that after 8 years I am still making music. I am finding that my biggest influences on this new CD are Loreena McKennitt, Lisa Gerrard, and Loop Guru. I am finally working on new music. I'm getting back to basics and working on new music using my old computer setup used on earlier classics such as Leaving Town and North Star.
