I worked this Saturday, then less than an hour after finishing work I felt a familiar and unwelcome pang in the lower right part of my back. I popped a couple of painkillers, but the kidney stone forced me to call the ambulance. Cracked open the bottle of Boeger white wine Koshka brought with her when she visited me in 2000. Nice wine; the taste reminded me of mead.

A year later, and things are if not normal, then at least settled down to an routine. Kalle is in Stockholm right now for the Easter vacation, and I'll have a week for myself. Well, we have moved back to our apartment after five weeks in a two-roomer with kitchen. The reason was that the housing company needed to change the plumbing in the house, the 40+ years old cast iron pipes showing signs of age.
