is that they tend to burn up your hands from the gases in them! Was out late Friday night, and driving home in area I wasn't really familiar with, tired, thinking about an offer I had to write saturday morning. Decided to try painkillers again today, which was probably part from trying to do my taxes as much from the surgery :) But in the last three weeks, I've had every kind of stress imagineable.. family, health, job, finances, and friends. I guess I should be grateful.. 8 days after my surgery, I can function pretty well. Until the evening that is. If I push it and either drive more than a short distance or do much physically, I'll really feel it in the evening. Well after 11 months of dealing with some rather serious pain and health issues, seeing four surgeons and numerous other specialists, I finally have my surgery scheduled for February 10th. They aren't doing everything they need to be.. a lot of the original problems caused by getting my appendix removed a year and a half ago will remain. What a PPO ( Read more... )

Or so it would seem when dealing with HMO docs. For the last couple of months, I knew I was going to have a fairly heavy surgery very soon. Well I had my first wreck in awhile today.. I guess after narrowly avoiding a couple lately, I was probably due.
