Sep 26, 2010 18:37

In honour of my beloved susanderavish's birthday, here's the final (for now, at least) chapter of Luke and Reid's visit to Provincetown. Very NC-17. Happy birthday, SDV! xoxo

Thanks to mcfeste for the excellent beta, as always.

Yes, it does...I believe that is a quote from "Something New" your fic that I keep waiting for you to update! ;) I've only read it about 50 times!

Yay, thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it.

And may I just say that impulsive looks damn good on Dr. Reid Oliver.

I agree completely. :D

EEEEEEEEE!!! Happy Birthday to us SDV!! What a treat!

They bought a house! They'll go there a few times a year and hold hands and eat ice cream and admire the view (ocean, and Luke ass-up on bed) and it'll be wonderful!

This made me feel sooooooo happy, and I kinda needed that. Thank you Boobies!

PS. Love the new layout. I always prefer black text on white than white text on black, so thankies. I'm sure you had me in mind for this change. ;D

Thank you for the lovely comment, bb! So glad you liked it. I definitely wanted to buy a house in P-town, so I figured if I couldn't, Luke and Reid could. :D

And glad you like the white background. White text on black doesn't bother me, but we're doing all this accessibility stuff at work so I'm becoming more aware of different issues. Some people really have trouble reading white text, so I figured I shouldn't make it hard for anyone to read my LJ. I like having the book covers and header on black because I think they pop and look nice, so this was the happy medium. :)

I don't have trouble reading white on black, but I definitely prefer black on white. Happy medium is v good! :)

Okay, so, I just read it again and I am grinning like a loon. Grinning like Reid after dinner!

He could eat Luke’s ass all day, but he knows Luke wants to be fucked.

That line is SO HOT. I don't even know.

Sometimes Reid hates Noah Mayer so much it’s like he’s choking on it. He takes a deep breath and blows it out slowly. When he can speak, his tone is playful. “Oh, you’re definitely a pervert.” He smiles and kisses the tip of Luke’s nose. “And I love it.”

Luke laughs, a blush creeping up his face. “I’ve always had these fantasies and I thought…I don’t know. That maybe I was weird.”

Reid trails his fingertips down Luke’s spine. “Oh, I can think of a million things I’d like to do to you. And have you do to me.”

Luke’s eyes widen just a tiny bit. “I want to do it all, Reid.”

“We will.” He kisses Luke and inches back, their lips still brushing. “Thank you for trusting me.”

“Always,” Luke breathes. And that was ( ... )

I love this story. Besides the wonderful Luke/Reid stuff going on, it makes me homesick!

I love that Reid is comfortable and relaxed there - we don't see that side of him very often. And buying the house there so that they can go on weekends - what a great idea!

Thought the drag show was hilarious! Great job - I love your writing so much!

Thank you so much! I love the Cape so much, so I can imagine if you're from there you'd miss it an awful lot. :)
