Sometimes doing the "Right Thing" is all wrong.
My latest and possibly greatest life lesson to date: Sometimes doing the proverbial “right thing” isn't the right thing for you.
I'm struggling here because deep down the resonance of my polite upbringing is causing me to feel guilty about not responding to a correspondence (received yesterday) in a timely manner.

Happy New Year!
I'll admit that I've often wondered at the U2 lyrics and if anything really does change on New Year's Day...Though that may be nigh impossible unless something catastrophic happens. Real change takes a dedicated desire, effort, & time.

I have come to believe that the road to hell is paved with Enablers*.
It should give one pause to wonder...Is it better to turn forever on a spit as soul rotissery, or to be packed in with ones brethren and laid out to spend eternity being trampled upon by the harvesters of wicked souls?
