Bad CS from Wonderstellar and MDS Collections

Don't know why I'm suddenly receiving bad CS from 2 merchants at the same time. Would appreciate comments and advice.

1. Wonderstellara. I placed a backorder for a necklace on 20 Jan 2015. Waited till early March - no news, so I sent a chaser. On 13 Mar, I received an email saying the backorder has arrived and mailed out on that day. Didn't ( Read more... )

that's very ridiculous indeed. having returned many items myself, I would say that the practice for defected items from blogshops I've encountered so far (LB, MGP, DSB, Thread Theory, Lollyrouge, just to name a few - yes I'm so unlucky as to encounter so many defected items) is to pay for the postage both ways if the mistake is on their part ( ... )

Hi dear, could I confirm that Dressabelle also refunded you the cost of mailing? I received a dress with a defective zip a while back, and they refunded me the cost of the dress in balloons, but when I asked for the price of mailing back to be refunded too (specifically stating that it was because of the defect, and not personal preference, that I was returning the dress), they replied (and I quote), "Do be advised that we are no earning anything from the shipping fees we've charged for each order, hence customers will have to bear the postage cost for all mails returned to us." I was quite annoyed about this but didn't want to kick up a fuss so just didn't reply their email.

hello! oh is that so? Then it is likely that I remembered wrongly. Ran a search through my email but couldn't find my correspondence with them. I must have deleted the email thread by accident. If it's true that they don't refund postage then that's pretty disappointing, since I've always had a soft spot for DSB with their flexible returns policy. sorry to be not much help!

Thanks everyone for your advice and shared experiences. I'm going to write to MDS one last time and ask for them to reimburse the postage. Feel quite sian that I have to chase for $1 until like that. But I'm sure we all agree that it's not the amount but the principle that matters.

I still have not heard from Wonderstellar despite comments on their FB and IG. How?

I think you have to really ask for the $1 from them!
Normally I would just take it as $1 credit if it is the store I always shop with!

The online store with the best customer service is LB & MGP, I think they have a team of dedicated staff to ensure good customer service.

However I think at times they will be bad situations, just go get it from MDS and wonderstellar!
