New Year to arrive a tick later

...We've all got to count down from eleven...

I've finally done all the washing up!

The reason for all of this is because I have been decorating. With a hoe.

The rocket is still growing everywhere. We have solved the bug problem on the mint. The courgette is flowering profusely, the basil has decided it doesn't want to be bonsai - and we've just sampled the first carrot!

And the radishes have pretty flowers.

My strawberries are being stolen!

I had a pretty cute queer boy on my couch last night.

Meanwhile, Simon is here - we've had cheese, the Plank and a selection of wines for lunch, been for short stroll, and are now planning dinner.
