Cocktail Cock Tales

Mar 03, 2007 17:28

I had a pretty cute queer boy on my couch last night.

Meanwhile, Simon is here - we've had cheese, the Plank and a selection of wines for lunch, been for short stroll, and are now planning dinner.

Obviously we should be drinking cocktails

We currently have "Kiss the boys goodbye" with Wallace and Gromit ( Read more... )

I have absolutely no idea of where to start with cocktails. I have some chocolate milk in my fridge. That's my tipple for the weekend....

we could use that - it'd go well with brandy and kahlua

Doesn't it - and why haven't you brought over the crucial ingredient?

And tomorrow you'll have a hangover.

American Beauty:
3/4 oz brandy
3/4 oz dry vermouth
3/4 oz orange juice
1/4 oz white creme de menthe
1 oz port (do you have port?)
A few drops of grenadine

Combine with ice; shake well. Strain. Carefully add port and grenadine, tipping glass so that the port floats on top.

Is London Eye worth the entrance price?

We don't have port, sadly, I finished one bottle and gave away the other as an impromptu christmas present, as I'd forgotten to get one!

We had a blue star, gin, vermouth, blue bols, orange juice
(and with that combination it's obviously green!)

we were going to have mudslides and things after dinner, but didn't get that far!

I haven't been to the London Eye, I tried to go once but the queue was very very long, so I took this photo instead. People tell me you should definitely go once though :)

And surprisingly, not much of a hangover. Though I've just finished a pint of tea :)

Fry-up for breakfast (or, um, brunch really. Or possibly afternoon tea at this rate!)
