After two weeks being passport less, today I got it back, with russian visa glued in it! June 10 to July 10, one month, perfect. While at the consulate I met the consul in the corridor again, with a big smile on his face! Still cant really believe they do exist ;)

Ended up going all the way to Busan today,  with a few hours stop at the Tongdosa temple. It is a very nice Buddhist temple complex in a fresh air and very hilly surroundings. Also, It is probably one of very few (or maybe the only one) genuinely old looking temples I've been to in Korea and not a full modern days restoration. The trees in colorful ( Read more... )

I am in the old Korean capital of Gyeongju again. I visited it December last year, but at that time I didnt had the chance to see the two UNESCO sites about 20km away from the city - Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto. So now, on my way back to Busan, I decided to stop over here again and see this interesting city once more.

Last weekends juggling in Daegu was as good as usual here, third time in this city and still cant complain ;)
Then on Saturday evening, for the first time ever I attended the couch surfing members meeting and ohhhhh my friends what a night! Went to sleep when Sundays sun was shining in the sky already ;)))

The last few days I've spend in Jinju.  Stayed with Geoff again, an american guy on CS, just teaching english here and enjoying his quiet life in the countryside. Took his bicycle and went to explore the area around, when in the evening, miles away from the city got punched tyre and had to walk back pushing the bike myself!

At the beginning of January, on my last days in Busan, I went  to the famous Jagalchi seafood market and I saw a woman sitting next to me and eating a live octopus. It didnt looked very pleasant thing to put in to your mouth, but it made me very curious of how does it taste. Walked today around the Shanghai street. Its a "dodgy" central area in Busan for russian and chinese people (mostly seaman's).
What I came upon was a place for karaoke and apparently even in my own language ;))  "PO" LIETUVISKAI! ;))

 Im back... Im back in sunny Busan and honestly - I feel soooo much better in this country. Left Fukuoka yesterday in a miserable rainy weather, then halfway everything changed and we reached Busan in sunshine ;)
