I love the little reference to Zuko being totally unable to brave tantrums. xD Mai is definitely the disciplinarian.

The midwife shifted on the bed, and Toph assumed she was being given a stern look. Woman totally didn't have any sense of humor. Toph would have way preferred the servants' midwife, but no, Zuko thought they had to do this all official and traditional. Like she didn't know how to push or something.
Still, she felt stone in the kid's bones. Like her and Haru and the Boulder and Long Feng and Kuei. That made up for a lot of unpleasantness.
"Hah?" Zuko asked from the other side of her, and the bed shifted under him as he laid a hand on her shoulder. "You did it."
"Of course I did, Sparky." Toph grinned. "Tell me what he looks like ( ... )

This is amazing. My favorite Toph-as-a-mother story I've read.

Urzai - a third try or a first mistake?
Song Feng - in her father's eyes.
Katara/Hahn - she didn't cheat with Zuko.
Self indulgent request - Hitozi meets an AU sibling. Adventures happen despite two very different personalities and abilities.

Ming eyed her lover. "Those are teas."
"As I said-" He nodded, looking pleased with himself.
"You do not name a child after tea," Ming said archly. The little girl was three days old, and it was time for her to have a proper name. By Ming's standards, at least. The royal family apparently did not officially name children until they were a week-old.
They also didn't offer to the local river spirits and fire shrine to guard the child, so she could see why they lost so many children young.
"We will be living in Ba Sing Se," Iroh said, his tone placating. "We can't name her after a traditional Fire Nation hero."
"There are so many, many options between 'traditional Fire Nation hero' and 'tea ( ... )

Suki is leading a class of older girls in fan-fighting. She glances over at him, and the entire class follows the direction of her gaze. They do not bow, and Zuko doesn't expect them to.
A lot of his own nobles don't bother with bowing. The Kyoshi Warriors don't even owe him the respect the daimyos ought.
Zuko smiles at the two children. "You must be Ty Lee's twins."
They nod, one quick jerk of their heads that sets their braids bouncing. It's very Ty Lee.
"What're your names?"
"Lin," said the one on the right, at the same time the one on the left said, "Takao."
"Those are pretty names." He studies them, something nagging at him. Mai talked a lot about Ty Lee's twins, even more than she did about Hitozi. Weren't they- "I thought Ty Lee had a girl and a boy."
The one on the left stamped her- his foot. "I am a boy!"
