The work I did today with the journals completed the last box I had to visit.  The discussions with Jason's mother over several specific items have all been resolved.  Except for paperwork I just have to file and objects to give to certain people, everything is put away in the place that makes the most sense right now.  My once crowded living room ( Read more... )

One of Jason's last requests to me when we talked about his final wishes was "Destroy my journals."  He didn't say when, so I used that small loophole to quote Jason at the first memorial.  His fight with leukemia was recorded in two special journals he'd used for that purpose.  I didn't even read them to pull out what I wanted.  I did a scan for ( Read more... )

Yesterday's memorial at the Sharon Temple was led by David Rankine and was a wonderful remembrance of Jason's life, mostly through song, silent meditation and people speaking as they were led about their memories of Jason.
