I'm also a guy who didn't really feel like trying to fit his SLR and lens into the trip. :-( I thought about it, but decided it's a little too big and fragile for the first trip on the bike.

I'm sure bearddevil's got a point-n-shoot, though, so we'll probably have that with us.
