So I had one of the best weekends I've had in a long time.  My sister came up on the 18th while on her fall break.  It had been about a year and a half since I'd seen her, so it was GREAT to spend a bunch of time together.  Her flight was delayed due to weather and other things, but she made it in just fine.  We had a nice night chatting and ( Read more... )

Well, I'm finally all moved in to the new place and pictures are up on the walls and I'm ready to do a journal entry about it!  All in all, the move went quite well.  We did most of the heavy lifting the last weekend in September.  It was a very tiring weekend for sure, but we made it through without too much snapping at each other.  Our good ( Read more... )

The BIG MOVE is this weekend, so I'll be out of computer contact for a few days. Well, that's not true...I'll have internet at work tomorrow (I'm on call) and by the time we move in, the phone line and internet should be ready at the new house. Well, I survived another month of medicine!  It was a long month, as they usually are, and I had the extra call, but now it's over and that makes me happy!  As usual, I didn't enjoy the month but I DID learn a lot and met a few interesting people.  I will say that I've decided Medicine months aren't good for my health.  I had two bad colds this ( Read more... )

Boy, what a good weekend I had! Friday, I was very productive getting a lot done on a presentation I am giving this week. Mark got home around 6:30 and we went to Movies in the Park (as usual), which was Ferris Bueller this week. Man, I love that movie!
