First of all, awesome Ironman. Second, I don't know how to feel about this story. I mean, I was glued to the page, but I'm also queazy.

I get that. I did warn for disturbing! Quease is a very understandable reaction. Some of the stuff in here makes me queasy. Batman is definitely queased out. And the Joker is way past queasy and into mostly miserable. Nausea all around! ; ) Thanks for commenting.

Firstly, I've adored all your previous fiction but never reviewed as I could never think of anything intelligent enough to say and didn't want to burden your reviews with 'OMG, thats so HAWT!'

There is just something so despicably dirty and offensive about that statement, isn't there? Almost as if the concept of a female with the same power and ferocity as a male Joker is so difficult to believe that it's brought down to the same status as 'nagging girlfriend/wife.'And yeah, Tony Stark would be my representative for...the rest of the misogynistic world, basically. I'm imagining him pre-Iron Man here, at his bitchiest height. I don't mean to bash IM here--I love Tony! But you're exactly right, Gotham has this sense of disbelief in a tiny female being that dangerous, whereas they're terrified of the male version. FemJoker can be ( ... )

The below description of your female Joker pretty much sums up why I do love the idea of her so much. I wanted to articulate this in my review, but couldn't find the words:

"female Joker isn't really overly concerned with her femaleness, partly because of the whole multi-verse thing. She knows she's the Joker before she hits any other descriptor, and that's the part that matters to her. "

I love that. Her gender comes second. You know what? That is probably the most sane thing ever! Why can't everybody be like that?

I'm the prompter, and I love what you did with the fic!

The Iron Man cameo (and even Obadiah!) I love so damn much and to so many pieces--since I loved that movie and to see it here and incorporated so well was a delightful surprise.

Batman actually LOLs and fem!Joker blows up an abortion clinic in response=FTW.

fem!Joker being aware of multiple dimensions and her own literal shift in gender--and sly ref. to the Killing Joke with her knowing from personal experience the revelation of being a father.

I loved how you worked with that lil' idea I wanted to see, Gotham completely misintrepeting Batman vs. fem!Joker.

And I like the lil' touch of Batman's contrasting fantasies for Bruce's future.

I saw fem!Joker as even wearing the same clothes as Joker--I only bring it up, since I saw overlithe's" interesting interpretation of fem!Joker wearing a chaotic gypsy-like garb... Regardless, I imagine any Joker would still engage in any costumes that are necessary for his/her personal show.

The Joker, of course, understands it perfectly. In all possible worlds. Even the worlds where she’s a man, or doesn’t really enjoy sex for some reason.

I liked this. I liked it a lot. Especially how you touched on how the public would perceive a female Joker in place of a male one.
