"Bonus Chapter" Mini-Cloud
This is the old Chapter 6, which I wrote up quickly and posted as a sort of bonus for New Year's Eve last year. It isn't terribly relevant, and it was pretty hurriedly written so I removed it from the edit of Part 1 to maintain the flow of the story a bit better. The home stretch
It's coming up to the end of NaNo, and I have two days left. I'm up to 41,149 words, so I have just under 9,000 to write in two days. Which should be doable, right?
I just came back from a week long vacation in Vanuatu, which left my word count a bit further behind than I'd hoped. Still, I managed to compromise... here's my writing desk with all the ( Read more... ) -
More NaNo progress
So it's 1/3rd of the way through NaNo and how am I doing? Just broke 10,000 words, so quite far behind (I should be at 16660).

Part 2 Progress and NaNo
I am not going to be officially doing NaNo this year (or any year, really) but I am getting into the spirit of things by setting myself the goal of finishing the writing of Part 2 by the end of November. That'll just leave the clean up and editing before I can post it, then hopefully- done!

Progress Report
The progress I've made has been... interesting. I mentioned before that I had written 10,000 words in the time that I had been on break. Well, about a week ago I started organising a "word war" with a few of the writers at Genesis Awards. The idea was to gather on Skype and use Write or Die with everyone calling out their word count. Character notes on the Shinra executives
These are just some character notes I made for the Shinra Executives that haven't really been fleshed out in the canon. It's really based on nothing other than the small snippets of things I found in the canon and some wild extrapolation. Six months
It's been pretty much six months since I went on hiatus and consequently, has been about six months since I posted here. So where does that leave me? In the, uh, 'very very bad' pile, I think. Whoops, haven't updated in a couple of weeks! I've just been enjoying the break from fandom xD I'm currently writing a bonus chapter to post on the journal, from Vincent's point of view as he makes his way to Midgar.

Professor Strife: Chapter 20 and the end of Part 1
Chapter 20 is posted - that means after 4 months, I have finished Part 1 of Professor Strife.
