Progress Report
The progress I've made has been... interesting. I mentioned before that I had written 10,000 words in the time that I had been on break. Well, about a week ago I started organising a "word war" with a few of the writers at Genesis Awards. The idea was to gather on Skype and use Write or Die with everyone calling out their word count. The "winner" would be whoever gets the highest word count after the set time, and that brings out a crazy competitive streak in me. I may not have won many of them, but I certainly got some results...
Monday: 1,500
Tuesday: 2,000
Wednesday: 1,800
Thursday (today): 5,300
So in 4 days of doing this I have written more than in the past few months. Crazy. I may be annoying all the others with my constant requests for word wars, but I think it's paying off.
