most of us are gamblers through and through: always needing the rush of the unknown or to seek different prospects, all the while allowing ourselves to jeopardize the steady subtleties of the familiar.

there are certain people in our lives that, for whatever reason, we allow to walk all over us. time and again, excuses are made and we ignore that little voice in our heads that tells us they will only bring calamity and dischord.

i have a big problem with this.

i think there are things that we just cannot get used to, no matter how hard we try.

last night's drunken sing-a-long/drink-a-long to JT's "summer love" was fantastic. we drank every time JT said the word "girl."

fifteen+ of my nearest and dearest finished two handles of liquor.
