I'm due in two days and other than the constant BH contractions there is no sign that baby will come in the next few days.  Oh well, he isn't done cooking I suppose.  I'm very uncomfortable but it does give me some more time to get things done, like finish the damn baby quilt and pick out a new color for the walls in my bedroom.

Nine more days until I'm due.  I'm getting tired of waking up with contractions and being nauseated and exhausted during the day, but that's the end of pregnancy for you.  My mom and Andy's grandfather think I'll have the baby on Mother's Day, but we'll see.  I'm starting to think I'll go late again.  Hopefully not as late as I went with Caitlin ( ( Read more... )

Last weekend I painted my bedroom.  I don't know that I like it.  It's cream now, and I'm hoping that once I get some more things up on the wall and some more color in there I'll feel better about how it looks.  It's very plain right now.  This week I made a new headboard for my bed.  I think I like it, but the fabric I put on it seems awfully ( Read more... )

35 weeks today and OMG my groin hurts.  Mostly just where my leg meets my crotch but as the day goes on it's spreading.  It's hurt for weeks but usually only in the morning when I get dressed or when I move lift my legs when I'm sitting down.  No wonder some people hate the end of pregnancy if this is what they feel like all the time.  I've never ( Read more... )

The kitchen is done!  Well, for the most part.  I still have a few areas to touch up with paint and Andy has to put in the pendant lights over the sink/bar area, but for the most part it's all done.  I've actually been spending time doing things other than working on the kitchen, like cleaning the house, and getting most of my garden planted.  I ( Read more... )

I want it to be over!  I love the way everything is looking but I have no counters, no table because it's covered in crap that was in my old cabinets and I can't find anything because all of my kitchen stuff is scattered all over the house.  I also have no kitchen sink and have to wash dishes in the bathroom sink.  ( Read more... )

Only 10 (12) weeks more of this pregnancy.  I'm sure I'll go overdue, probably to 42 weeks again, if not 43.  I've already told my mom not to worry about getting here in the few days around my due date because I don't want her to have to wait around for me so long.

I get dangerous when pregnant.  Suddenly everything has to be perfect or it drives me crazy.  I started painting the inside of the house last May and burned out a quarter of the way through.  Now we HAVE TO FINISH, and soon so I can relax before the baby comes.  We're also going to try to put Caitlin in her own room so that means painting the spare ( Read more... )
