I'm due in two days and other than the constant BH contractions there is no sign that baby will come in the next few days.  Oh well, he isn't done cooking I suppose.  I'm very uncomfortable but it does give me some more time to get things done, like finish the damn baby quilt and pick out a new color for the walls in my bedroom.

Im waiting for this in my June birth community.

I feel for you. Especially since you thought he would come early... That just screws with your psyche ya know.

Im sending you labor vibes.

Thanks, I don't know why I thought I would go early, I'm always late. I've been having some cramping today so maybe soon.

great pictures. Caitlin is so adorable, I love the one with the upside-down glasses. I guess you'll be going into labor "late" again. Well, at least it will probably only be 2 weeks or less, right? You can start counting down now.

Hopefully, it could go 3 weeks though. Who knows.

I think I read somewhere that only 5% of women reach 43 weeks . Who knows what that was based on, though, because most women these days are induced by 41 weeks or before. Who knows how long pregnancy would go if people actually waited.

I hope you don't mind; I am looking at the 'friends' of the May2008 community, and yours was here ;)

I totally agree with you about the annoyance. It really does seem like everyone has inductions and c-sections scheduled way before their due date. It kind of makes me pity women who don't have faith in what their bodies can do themselves.

I don't mind at all. :)
I feel badly for the women too, because I think that society is to blame for this fear of birth. It also makes me angry at doctors for taking advantage of that to make their lives easier.
