37 weeks
Last weekend I painted my bedroom. I don't know that I like it. It's cream now, and I'm hoping that once I get some more things up on the wall and some more color in there I'll feel better about how it looks. It's very plain right now. This week I made a new headboard for my bed. I think I like it, but the fabric I put on it seems awfully loud in the very plain room. I'll have to take pictures.
Yesterday was my 37 week midwife home visit. I have the birth pool here now and everything is good to go. Baby is active, good heartbeat and in a great position for birth. However all of a sudden I'm measuring three weeks behind. I've been measuring two weeks behind for a few weeks but now I've fallen to the point where they're starting to be concerned there might be a problem with his growth. I have an appointment on Monday with my back up OB to get some prescriptions for the birth and to recheck the fundal hight. If it's still that low I might need to have another ultrasound to check on him. I don't think there's anything really wrong, I just think he's small. I've been expecting him to be a six pounder for a few months now. Andy is worried though. Hopefully my OB can reassure him that everything is fine.
Tomorrow we're going strawberry picking again. We're meeting up with my friends Sara and Sharon and their families. It should be nice since we're getting up early to go before it gets to hot. The only problem with this strawberry farm is they have a golden retriever puppy who is as big as Sean and likes to paw and jump at kids. Andy might be on dog duty to keep him from mauling Sean.
I need to go rescue Sean from Caitlin now.
