I think Oakland U is actually trying to kill me...so much work, so little time, and I miss my Summer vacation! On the bright side, despite the crazy accelerated schedule, I'm actually quite enjoying my classes right now. Book squee!!!

Got unofficial grade results by digging through transcripts because they still refuse to post them on the main SAIL page where they should be. I ended up with a 3.89 for the semester, which is better than what I'd planned for. I made Dean's List (two consecutive semesters of 3.6 or more), but was a tenth of a point shy of a 4.0 in my history class ( Read more... )

Well the semester is officially half over now. Actually, as of tomorrow, it's more than half over. There're about 45 days until the end of the semester, and then of course there are 7 days until I start my NEXT semester, so it's not like that's a hugely exciting thing. So I'm into the second week of school now and it's been crazy hectic. Even with it only being halfway through January it feels like the semester should be half over already. So I got my grades for this last semester, and seriously, I don't understand the grading policy at OU. I was right on about French, with a 3.4, but in both my other classes I ended up with 4.0's. So I took my French test last night and did...meh, probably a B. I nailed some parts of it, and maybe the first time in years totally blanked on a couple questions, on which I think I made up a few French words. But a B is actually fine with me.
