I think Oakland U is actually trying to kill me...so much work, so little time, and I miss my Summer vacation! On the bright side, despite the crazy accelerated schedule, I'm actually quite enjoying my classes right now. The reading material for my labor history class is really interesting, and putting together all the info is fun, and my Logic class at the moment is all about how to argue with people. Yep, right up my alley. We're learning all sorts of interesting argumentative techniques and the pitfalls of different fallacies. I can easily see how this will fit into law school in a year when it comes to the right and wrong way to build a case. So while the pace is maddening (you don't want to know how much reading I have to do between now and tomorrow, oh, and I have a test to study for tomorrow), as technically at the end of next week, this wee semester is already half over, I certainly can't complain about the classes. I like both the material and the professors.
Still, I want my vacation back! Though, the thought of Summer vacation did give me a very interesting notion for NEXT Summer, but we'll see how that goes.
