Yes, that is it exactly! My professor gave us an assignment to team up, write a play, rehearse it, and perform it so he could humiliate us further by recording it and burning it on a DVD. Short post: I found out yesterday the show "Extreme Makeover" is coming to town next week to shoot a new episode (can't imagine why they would come here, but hey, it's a job opportunity, right?). My film professor brought it up, asked for people to sign up as a Production Assistant, and I did. It's 4 12-hour shifts, 125 dollars a shift.

I wasn't fond of adapting a story because I knew I'd have to alter it (and I feel terrible for the author when books get altered) but the story I found was just so interesting that I felt I had to adapt it. So I finally found out why the college didn't place me in my major class when I received my schedule. My professor said he reserved the class for all the major's students (all 8 or 15 of us) and that I was already in the class. I just had to make sure I had no classes scheduled for the time I was supposed to take the course.
