Extreme Makeover
Short post: I found out yesterday the show "Extreme Makeover" is coming to town next week to shoot a new episode (can't imagine why they would come here, but hey, it's a job opportunity, right?). My film professor brought it up, asked for people to sign up as a Production Assistant, and I did. It's 4 12-hour shifts, 125 dollars a shift.
I found out today I didn't get picked, but that's actually ok. I have a movie to shoot and a NaNoWriMo word count to meet. I also entered the Sterling Scholarship last week or the week before, which is a $1,000 a year award, renewable for three years. I think 3 grand is just a tad better than 500 dollars, tax-deductible. Of course, I'm still waiting to hear about that.
