Big Relief
So I finally found out why the college didn't place me in my major class when I received my schedule. My professor said he reserved the class for all the major's students (all 8 or 15 of us) and that I was already in the class. I just had to make sure I had no classes scheduled for the time I was supposed to take the course.
My father's translation: he reserved the class so nobody outside of the major could sign up for it.
What I don't get is why he didn't just sign us all up and then close the sign-up for the class. But I'm not the professor, so it really doesn't matter as long as I'm in the class officially.
