Ergo = bad?

So I'm in another parenting forum with an emphasis on attachment style parenting/baby wearing. I mentioned I use an ergo and was instantly told I was doing things wrong/the ergo sucks/etc. I was under the impression that it was one of the best ssc? They sound like a bunch of elitist twits, in my opinion. Ergos are AWESOME. I preferred structured carriers. Different strokes for different folks. :)

That's ridiculous.
For BWIng needs you should join TBW, period. Here's fine too but the baby wearing experts of the world are over there. No one has ever said bad things about the ergo (save personal preference issues wrt SSC).

You should post something really touchy like "can I wear baby FFO in an Infantino wrap & tie?" and rile them up :p

I like the Ergo, but my kids got too tall for it pretty quickly. It's not bad for your average kid/mom/dad as long as you're using it properly.

Of the SSCs out there, the Ergo isn't my favorite because it has one of the shortest bodies. On the other hand some people love the Ergo and find it more comfy. I suspect their children are better behaved than mine and don't lean backwards to grab a candy bar in the checkout lane.
