Joel was flipping through the channels the other night. One station had some muppet show DVD advertisement and the next channel up was the Jersey Shore show.

It’s just shy of two months into our mini-goal of paying $5000 on the truck loan by the end of the year, and the journey has been amazing and difficult at the same time. Yes, even in engineering. Not too surprising when you consider the fact that many of the engineering projects are funded by tax dollars (federal, state and local on the municipal side). While grocery shopping at the farmers’ market on Saturday, I picked up a collection of ‘seconds’ peaches. Seconds peaches are imperfect peaches, not usually sellable because of imperfections like bruising or small patches of rot.
