Today I took a $2665 risk. I moved $2600 from our emergency fund/savings account and paid off one of my student loans (lowest balance, variable interest rate). As it turns out, I had one of my worries cleared up this weekend. I did end up starting my period right on schedule as if nothing had happened. Now my cycle is two weeks off from when it used to be, so I ovulate at the full moon and bleed at the new moon (it was the opposite). I’m taking things day by day, but having goals will help me to not dwell as well as to pass time more quickly while I play the waiting game. Practice last night with my pregnant friend was not as easy as I‘d hoped it would be, but it was not as difficult as I’d feared. I’ve found that when life throws you a curveball, it can actually work out to be better for you, in the long run. The curveball in this case is that I am no longer pregnant.
