Went to Dragon*Con this past weekend, after having missed out on the fun last year, and I had a pretty good time all things considered. Didn't get to everything which interested me, but saw plenty enough.

Hmm. Economist Arnold Kling is giving a talk on 'Markets vs. Government' at Campbell University in Raleigh @ 6:00 this Thursday. He assumes it's open to the public, but I can't find any more information about it. Maybe I'll be able to leave work early enough to find out?
