Went to Dragon*Con this past weekend, after having missed out on the fun last year, and I had a pretty good time all things considered. Didn't get to everything which interested me, but saw plenty enough.

akiko, of course, had a pretty rough time of it with her recurring mystery illness and missed out on at least half the con, including her reading, ( Read more... )

The best part of DRAGON is the girls in costumes. Always is.

Don't tell me that you too have become a Pathfinder convert! I love Paizo's modules, but it still blows my mind that Paizo was able to get everyone to buy a slightly tweaked 3.5.

Oh, the girls in costumes is indeed a fantastic part of Dragon*Con. I've certainly got more than a few pictures from last weekend (which I've yet to post to Flickr) to attest to that.

I don't know that I can rightfully say that I'm a Pathfinder convert since I've yet to actually sit down and play a game (unless you count the first two modules of 'Rise of the Runelords', but those still used 3.5 rules). What I've seen of it so far looks pretty good. I think I would have made more drastic changes, but given that compatibility with 3.5 was a design goal I can see why they didn't.
