Well I've had my end of the first month appraisal interview at work. I'm doing fine it seems which is a relief. I now have to sign up for about 5 management training sessions starting next month - fun things like appraisal training. We went to York Book Fair today. Nobody there that I knew at all. I have come home with a very tatty hb of Carola (£11) and a nice 1st ed of island with pc dw for £45. Considering that it was a book fair I think I did OK. The 1st Chalet Book was going for as little as £60! -

I GOT IT! I start on Jan 2nd, which is when the college starts back after Christmas.

I have just had an email from Matador - who published Librarian - saying that they are still receiving requests for copies of the book, though it's now out of print. They asked if I would agree to transfer to a regualr publishing arrangement, which means that they meet all the costs of printing, invoicing and so on, and I get 10% commission on ( Read more... ) -
