Please will everyone who dies so pray for me? I have re-read a letter I had from college, and if I don't get another post there this month, that's it! I'm out of work. End of contract. So no redundancy or anything.

So far I haven't had an invite to Ackworth for the interviews next Friday.  I feel that I've now got past the window where I'm likely to get one.  A shame as we had a run out there last week, & it's only 20 minutes.  The place looks lovely too.  Realistically, I don't have school experience, and if there are enough candidates who do, they won't ( Read more... )

Half a day to go to the G!!  My stuff is already in Steve's car - all but the cheesy onion pie thing which is still in the freezer.  I just have an afternoon enrolling till 4.30 then home, change, pick up Catriona and we're off.  Hope those who can't go have a great weekend.

I have an interview for the Leeds job next Wednesday.  I have to give a prsentation on the impact of information and learning technologies in teaching and learning on FE learning centre provision for the next 3 years!

Rather nervous, and would appreciate prayers from those that do.

I have had my letter for HR, and I'm based in the Learning Centres until I get redeployed. There doesn't seem to be any rush at the moment. HR say that I can see what comes up this month, and then go for a meeting next month to look at options. They don't seem to want to push me into any old job either, which is good. We were all sworn to secrecy yesterday, not even knowing who had got which job, though obviously I knew who had got jobs at all.
