Halling looked around him, still overwhelmed by the beauty and sterility of the room that held the Ring of the Ancestors. The city continually amazed him, but it also left him uneasy and worried, for who knew what the Ancestors' will was concerning this holy place.

( He shouldered an empty pack and checked that the pugilis he had borrowed from one of the others were secure at his belt. )

Jack flopped onto his bed, relieved to finally be home, even as part of him wished he was still in Carson's quarters, exploring Carson's body. He stood and stripped out of his clothes and then settled back on the bed, running a hand along down his chest.

Jack had inhaled lunch and returned to his duties. He'd spent most of the day peering at the data from the wraith planet. There hadn't been any significant anomalies in the scan results, so it was down to visual checking. Jack set up shop in the conference room with the large screen. There was some discussion of setting up a schedule so people could use the large screen for movies and the like in the evenings. For now, though, it gave Jack the perfect work environment for looking at details on video captures without making his headache worse.

After meeting with Doctor Weir, John left the mess hall, and paused outside the door to wait for Evan to join him. He arrived a few moments later, and John grinned before starting towards his quarters. Evan fell in beside him, and John kept glancing sideways at him, all but bouncing with glee.

Carson pocketed the feathers Keara had given him. He headed out to look for Airman Jackson. Wandering about, he realized he had no idea where the young man was quartered. Stopping one of the marines in the hallway, he inquired after him. Getting directions, he found his way to the young man's room. He knocked on the door.
