John and Rodney stepped through the gate, unaccompanied by Teyla or Ford. Despite that absence they were casually strolling and chatting with each other. "Yeah, you have to learn to fight. Just remember, everyone else will be suffering as much as you! And all your minions will be even more cowed."

When John had gotten up (for a second time), he'd sent out search parties again, although considerably fewer of them.
