Day 8, All Morning, Conference Room B, Attn: Lorne, Anyone, probably Sheppard eventually
Jack set up shop in the conference room with the large screen. There was some discussion of setting up a schedule so people could use the large screen for movies and the like in the evenings. For now, though, it gave Jack the perfect work environment for looking at details on video captures without making his headache worse.
He started with the flyover of the Mainland, since he figured knowing what was in their own backyard was more important. Intelligence analysis was part science and part art. Jack liked to think he had a good handle on the science part and a bit of a flair in the art direction. He lost himself in the video recording and the associated sensor logs. He made a couple of surprised huhs here and there and then stiffened, replayed a bit of video, eyes shifting between video and sensor logs, and then paused it all and reached for his radio. He'd seen that Major Sheppard was occupied today, so that left Major Lorne in charge.
"Airman Jackson to Major Lorne. Major? I've been analysing the data from the flyover of the Mainland and I think I might have found something."
