I want to relearn the types of fallacious arguments. I remember memorizing these in a logic class. I don't call them by name generally -- but it's really useful to have them in mind when someone's feeding you bullshit at work. The list on that page is WAY longer than what I had to learn.. Something that's actually a very common sight on the road - and thus all the more sad, is the number of troops you see in the Atlanta airport. Every single time I go there's an entire couple of squads lined up heading somewhere. Rarely they're going home, generally they're all together heading back out ( Read more... )

On a side note, I'm driving a new Nissan Altima this week. The car is nice, but the ignition is bizarre.
